Interior Architecture

Growing up, my family moved around a lot, thus beginning my interest in interior design. My mom and I would watch a lot of HGTV which only piqued my interest more.
I started my experience at UWSP as a Dietetics major but soon learned that my passion for design would take over and change my course of action. Through my time at UWSP, I have participated as a member and Secretary of the Illuminating Engineering Society and am a recipient of the 2022 University Leadership Award. During my time at UWSP, I interned at Urban Herriges and Sons, Inc. and worked as a Sales Consultant and Interior Designer at Steinhafels.
Outside of school and design, you can find me hiking, crocheting, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. Beyond college, I wish to pursue residential and sustainable design.
As a designer, my goal is to focus on the sustainable qualities of my projects in several ways. This is achieved by creating design solutions that support the health and well-being of the end-user, and by selecting materials and finishes, furnishings, and accessories. I am driven to find ways to help my community and the environment through interior design solutions and to foster sustainability education in my community.
